Community of Like-Minded People
Worldwide connections built through shared values, presence, and a deeper quality of dance.
A globally connected collective of dancers, officially recognized by MKIZ and guided by Albir Rojas and Natalia.
Apply HereThe Healers are a collective of dancers from around the world, officially recognized by MKIZ and guided by Albir Rojas and Natalia. Through the embrace of kizomba, they create more than a social dance. They offer an experience rooted in presence, connection, and conscious movement.
This is not an alternative style, but a deeper level of quality within the kizomba experience, where each interaction becomes an exchange of energy, awareness, and calm. Their approach is fluid, musical, and grounded, inviting dancers into a space where they can feel seen, supported, and fully present.
Each Healer is trained to cultivate embodied presence, sensitivity, and deep human connection. With a focus on breath, mutual listening, and energetic awareness, they create safe and intentional spaces for authentic connection to unfold.
While not positioned as “healing” others, The Healers facilitate moments of co-regulation, inner balance, and genuine connection through the power of the embrace. More than a dance team, they are movement artists dedicated to transformation, offering experiences that go beyond technique and into something deeply human, where a simple dance can become a meaningful and memorable exchange.

Stepping into the path of a Healer is both a personal and collective commitment. To support the structure and depth of the training, there is a one-time setup fee as well as an annual membership for those who choose to remain active within The Healers collective.
Membership is renewed yearly and helps sustain the continued growth, opportunities, and presence of the group. Upon completing the academy, you will receive official accreditation as recognition of your journey and development.
There is no obligation to become an Official Healer. Some may choose to complete the training purely for personal growth, which is equally valued and respected.
The path is open to both leaders and followers, and dancers from all backgrounds are welcome. While not essential, the ability to both lead and follow is a beautiful addition to the practice, deepening connection, empathy, and understanding within the dance.
A Healer is a recognised dancer, leader or follower, identified for deep connection in dance, empathy, awareness, high-level technique, musicality, and body control.
They help others experience deep connection, safety, and trust on the dancefloor. Dancing with a Healer allows others to feel care, respect, and joy while learning through the experience.
More than skilled dancers, Healers help build a sheltered and inspiring dance environment while supporting the growth of the community and continuing their own journey.
You can become a Healer through a short recognition process with Albir and Natalia. To apply, simply request recognition at one of the selected festivals where they will be present.
The process consists of a short dance with Albir or Natalia, followed by personalized feedback. You will either gain Healer status or receive guidance on which skills to develop further.
The fee for the recognition process is €10, which helps cover the time for a personal evaluation and feedback session.
